DU Admissions 2024: The counselling process and seat allotment for the academic year 2024-2025 in Delhi University (DU) is going to start soon. Like last year, this year too, the admission process has been delayed due to the delay in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2024 result due to various factors.
Delhi University has started the second phase of admission through the Common Seat Allocation System for undergraduate programmes. According to the university, more than 2.7 lakh candidates have registered in the first phase.

Is there any weightage of Class 12 marks in CUET UG?
The marks obtained in CUET UG 2024 will be considered for admission in the academic year 2024-25, while the Class 12 marks will be considered for tie-breaking, if any, during seat allotment through CSAS.
Can a student change his or her college preferences in DU Admissions 2024?
Yes, you can keep changing your college and course preferences till August 9. Don’t forget to save your choices every time you exit the window. Please note that the choices will be auto-locked on August 9.
No, students will not receive any mail for the admission process but they have to visit the official website of the university and log in to their dashboard to check for any updates.
What if a student uploaded DigiLocker screenshot instead of original marksheet of board result?
DigiLocker screenshots are also acceptable. It would be better if they can upload their original mark sheets, but the admission of the candidate will not be cancelled. Qualified candidates will have to re-submit their original mark sheets to the college authorities if asked for at a later stage of admission. According to university the marksheets of CBSE students are already available with DU.
