Chandigarh University Selection Process 2025:

Chandigarh University uses a structured selection process for its 2025 admissions, primarily centered around the Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET). The process involves several key steps:

1. Registration for CUCET: Prospective students must register for CUCET, which is conducted in two phases: Phase-I and Phase-II. Each phase is active during specific periods, and applicants must select the phase that aligns with their application deadlines. Registration can be completed online through the official CUCET portal: (https://cucet.cuchd.in).

2. Application Form and Prospectus: After registration, candidates must download the e-prospectus by paying a fee of ₹1,000. The e-prospectus contains the application form required for both the entrance exam and admission. Applicants must fill the application form with accurate personal and academic details.

3. Entrance Exam: Applicants must appear for the CUCET exam on their chosen date. The exam is conducted through an online platform and consists of multiple-choice questions. Performance in CUCET is crucial, as it determines eligibility for admission and potential scholarships.

4. Result and Merit List: After the exam, the results are declared, and a merit list is prepared based on the performance of the candidates. Appearing in counselling is mandatory to secure admission.

6. Confirmation of Admission: After successful verification and seat allotment, candidates will have to confirm their admission by paying the requisite tuition fees and completing other formalities within the stipulated time frame.

It is important to note that the specific eligibility criteria vary as per the programme. For instance, B.Tech applicants must have completed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, securing a minimum of 60% marks.
