NEET UG 2021 result is expected to be declared soon. The Supreme Court on Thursday took cognizance of NTA’s plea and allowed it to release the NEET 2021 results. The exam was held on September 12 and close to 16 lakh students had appeared for it.
Meanwhile, the Bombay High Court order against which the NTA had sought SC intervention has been stayed.
The NEET UG 2021 result will be available on the website of the national testing agency (NTA), nta.ac.in and on the NEET 2021 portal, neet.nta.nic.in.
Candidates who had appeared for the medical entrance exam in September, can check the NEET result and download the score card using the registration details as and when it is released.
The inter-se merit will be decided in the given order: Candidate obtaining higher marks/percentile score in Biology (Botany and Zoology) in the test, followed by candidate obtaining higher marks/percentile score in Chemistry in the test, followed by candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in all the subjects in the test.
The Result of NEET (UG) – 2021 may be utilized by other Entities of Central and State Governments, in accordance with their respective eligibility criteria / other norms /applicable regulations/guidelines/ rules. The result data may also be utilized for B.Sc. (H) Nursing courses in accordance with their respective eligibility criteria / other norms /applicable regulations/guidelines/ rules. The NEET (UG) – 2021 result data could also be used for admissions to BVSc & AH courses under the 15% quota of VCI in recognized Veterinary Colleges. However, the Council has to approach the MCC of DGHS, MoHFW in order to obtain the said data of results.
